About the Workshop

The SUSE NeuVector Container Security Rodeos are free, in-depth online sessions which are designed for those that are new to NeuVector or container security but are great for practitioners of all levels. ​

The content will be presented by our SUSE expert. It is not necessarily how you should secure workloads in production, but should help give you a basis to put together the right tools to be able to plan a security strategy.

The key topics that will be covered during this 3-hour session include:

• Modern day challenges with container security
• NeuVector capabilities 
• Deployment of a Kubernetes cluster and NeuVector
• An overview of Neuvector UI and what it looks like on an initial deployment
• Deployment of an example app. to cluster
• What to expect when your K8s cluster is expecting a new app.
• App. behaviour
• Switching modes: how/when/why
• Bonus round: Fun with attack scenarios

Requirements

Attendees should have an up-to-date browser, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or other Chromlium-based browsers. Familiarity with containerization, Kubernetes and Security concepts is encouraged.
